Let’s get this out of the way—I am not a three-time national champion.
In fact, I have never podium finished in my age-group; not yet anyway. I am just a regular guy with an “extra-regular” passion for triathlon.
I completed my first race, in 2006, on a really heavy mountain bike. Without guidance, proper training, or really any clue, I completed that race. Although I struggled, one taste was enough to rope me in for life.
Since then I have competed in several endurance races of varying lengths with many personal successes, and I continue to train and set new goals.
I have trained as a coach and personal trainer under experts in both Canada and the U.S. But I can also draw upon my own experience to put myself in your shoes (and goggles), because I have been there, on the other side of the coaching equation.
I began this business to help others who find themselves “tri-curious”. Those who want to discover triathlon or improve their past performance , or simply to work with others in an upbeat social environment.
If this sounds like you, then let’s talk. Let me help you discover your hidden triathlete within, break personal bests this year and set new goals for the future.
Triathlon training is not one-size-fits-all. Every individual has unique goals, strengths and challenges.
That is why my coaching services include one-on-one meetings, video analysis, and workouts tailored to your personal strengths and weaknesses. I also offer different levels of training, so that you can choose a training package that works for you.
With this approach, not only can I help create and monitor the right training plan for you, I can make sure that your plan suits your goals and lifestyle.
Triathlon training is not a 100 metre dash—it’s a fantastic, epic journey. Let’s enjoy that journey together.
Together we can…
• set realistic goals
• design a roadmap to get you where you want to be
• modify your program when necessary
• build core strength through functional exercises
• prevent injury
• get the most out of the sport!
